EAST Midlands Railway says that summer-dated trains from Derby and Nottingham to Skegness will return this year, formed of Class 180 DMUs. The trains will provide more seats and luggage space than the more usual Class 156 units used on the line.

Services will run every Saturday from July 23 to September 10, leaving

Derby at 07.58 and 09.23, returning at 11.42 and 13.44. The new May timetable will also see two return services reinstated, the 08.46 and 13.46 Nottingham-Skegness, and the 11.14 and 16.14 Skegness Nottingham.
