Strawberry Line regauged

THE 5in gauge Strawberry Line Miniature Railway at Avon Valley Adventure Park near Keynsham, Bristol, dates back to 1999.

This has undergone a major transformation over the past couple of years.

Following the retirement of Mike Bass, the original operator, it was taken over by the park. The outer circuit has been relaid to 7¼in gauge so there is now a 400m circuit of each gauge. A volunteers’ club is to be formed. Visit www. avonvalley.co.uk for details.
