Change of venue for former Cadbury Hudswell Clarke diesel

A LOCO destined for the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway has gone to the Statfold Barn collection, Staffordshire instead. Cadbury No. 14 (Hudswell Clarke D1012 of 1956) was on static display at Cadbury World, Bournville, for many years. The 0-4-0DM was gifted to the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Museum (GRCWM) based on the L&MMR (RM May 2021, p90), but the group was unable to raise the finance to transport the loco from Birmingham. The GRCWM charity has closed but the stock owned has a secure future and railwayana on loan is being returned to its owners.
