Arygle line works completed

A £32m upgrade of the route between Rutherglen and Exhibition Centre, Glasgow, was completed on time on May 9. Engineers removed 500 tonnes of concrete encasement from the tunnels, repainted 700 structural beams and applied more than 1000 square metres of waterproofing. Upgrade work at Anderston station was due to continue for a further four weeks.
