Four-day closure at Tyseley for points replacement

WORK to replace points and crossovers at Tyseley, Birmingham, will lead to a fourday closure of the line between Birmingham Snow Hill and Solihull. The posession will be in force between June 20 and 23 and affect West Midlands Railway, CrossCountry and Chiltern Railways services. The task is being carried out ahead of the Commonwealth Games which are taking place in Birmingham. The work will also affect access to Tyseley maintenance depot. During the closure, rail replacement bus services will operate. In addition to the trackwork, Network Rail will take the opportunity to undertake a deep clean of Snow Hill station and remove graffiti and overgrown vegetation.
