LORD FISHER BOWS OUT:
The Yeovil Railway Centre turned its steam day on Sunday, July 17 into a mini gala at short notice to mark the withdrawal of Barclay (1398/1915) Lord Fisher due to the 10-year expiry of its boiler certificate. The 0-4-0ST working passenger trains along the ex-GWR Clifton Maybank spur with Class 117 DMU TCL trailer car No. 59515 Shirley W, converted for use a push-pull coach. It is pictured beside the loco shed. It is understood there are no immediate plans to overhaul the loco.
