Cork Suburban service frequency doubled

FREQUENCY was doubled on suburban services from Cork to Cobh and Midleton on July 18 following a two-week closure of both lines for track upgrades. The new timetable saw the introduction of a half hourly service on both routes which delivers a 15-minute service between Glounthaune, Little Island and Cork Kent station. In total 32 extra services run between 06.45 and 19.45 each weekday.
