‘PLA’ to run at Blaenavon

0-6-0T No. 1857 (built 1952) is set to haul its inaugural passenger train in preservation at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway’s September 9-11 annual steam gala. No. 1219 ‘Caledonia Works’. Following restoration at

West Somerset Restoration, Williton, No. 1857 moved to Blaenavon on August 9 where it is to remain for the foreseeable future.
