Poplar fails

KENT & East Sussex Railway based LBSCR ‘Terrier’ 0-6-0T No. 70 Poplar failed with a mechanical problem on July 29, the first day of the Bluebell Railway’s Terrier 150 weekend. With the overhaul of No. 72 Fenchurch not finished in time, it was left to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway’s No. W11 to show off a ‘Terrier’ performance on public trains during the event.
