‘H2’ and ‘Terrier’ boilers in place

THE boiler of new-build

LBSCR Atlantic ‘H2’ No. 32424 Beachy Head was lowered into its frames on August 16 at Sheffield Park on the Bluebell Railway. The 4-4-2 is now back inside Atlantic House, the loco’s shed, enabling work to start on tidying up the boiler cladding sheets and getting on with the rest of the build. The previous day, the boiler of LBSCR ‘Terrier’ 0-6-0T

No. 72 Fenchurch was returned to the loco using the on-site overhead gantry crane.
