Premier visit to Welshpool & Llanfair gala

SITTINGBOURNE & Kemsley Light Railway’s (SKLR) newly overhauled Kerr Stuart 0-42ST Brazil class loco Premier will be the star attraction at Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway’s September 2-4 Annual Gala. Premier spent its entire working life on the Bowaters Paper Mill railway system, part of which is preserved as today’s SKLR, and has never previously visited another line. Premier is due to haul two Austrian four-wheeled carriages between Llanfair Caereinion and Castle Caereinion on all three days. A supplementary fare will be charged.
