Time travel on WMM

BY scanning a QR code available on board trams, with their mobile phone, passengers on the West Midlands Metro network can take a tour back in time to find out more about the people and places which are particularly significant to the area’s history.

It has been developed by immersive media organisations Surfing Lightbeams and Crossover Labs using 3-D technology, film and photographs, combined with a soundtrack composed by local artists.
