AVENTRA ADVENTURES:
Pictured on August 16, Class 730 Nos. 730012 and 730008 are seen heading through Tipton en route to Soho depot in Birmingham. Driver instructor training on the class is underway with driver training expected to follow soon afterwards. The 36 three-car electric multiple units will replace the existing Class 323s on West Midlands Railway Cross-City Line services, increasing capacity. Members of the fleet have recently been used to carry out signal sighting checks on the route.
