WSR cancels gala

THE West Somerset Railway (WSR) cancelled its September 29-October 2 Autumn Steam Gala, as advanced special ticket sales were ‘significantly down’, and difficulty in arranging suitable visiting steam locos.

The railway said an ‘exciting format’ is planned for its 2023 Spring Steam Gala. Regular WSR services will continue to run through October on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
