STANDARD ON TOUR:
Mid-Hants Railway-based BR ‘2MT’ 2-6-2T No. 41312 visited the Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust at Midsomer Norton in mid-September, as part of a series of events to mark the 60th anniversary of the last ‘Pines Express’ over the Somerset and Dorset Railway in 1962. On September 15, the loco is seen starring in a 30742 Charters photographic day, during which it hauled trains of both restored goods wagons and carriages.
