-

SLEAFORD station has benefitted from a £204,000 investment which has seen the Lincolnshire station repainted in heritage colours of Buckingham green and cream, as well as the creation of a new community room.

The unused room at the station, converted for use, will be available for local schools and groups.

Funding for the repaint and extensive work to create the new room has been funded jointly by East Midlands Railway, the Railway Heritage Trust, CrossCountry and the Poacher Line Community Rail Partnership.
