STLB SUPPORTS REGIOJET:

Austrian regional train operator Steiermärkische Landesbahnen (STLB) has being providing locos to Czech open access operator Regiojet this summer, in part because engineering work in Austria has required additional locos to be used. No. 183 717, one of STLB’s two ‘Taurus’ electric locos, has been on lease to Regiojet for many weeks, normally working a train pair between Vienna and Budapest daily. The loco is seen at Budapest Deli station with a service to Prague which it will work as far as Vienna on 22 July 2022.
