EMD locos in the Gulf

ETIHAD Rail, operator of the new national rail network in the United Arab Emirates, has taken delivery of the first of 38 EMD SD70 locos being built by Progress Rail and delivered by sea to Abu Dhabi to operate freight services on the new network. In addition, 842 wagons are on order.
