Lighting-up ‘Bluebird’

EXTENSIVE wiring work saw the interior lights and destination boxes on London County Council No. 1 ‘Bluebird’ connected and working by late October. The switch-on of the lighting on No. 1, which is being restored at Crich Tramway Village, was the culmination of what the London County Council Tramways Trust described as a “mammoth task” by the team and the result of many hours of effort.
