Push made for fourth platform at Snow Hill

MIDLANDS Connect, the sub-national transport body for the Midlands, discussed the possible reinstatement of a fourth platform at Birmingham Snow Hill with Shadow Rail Minister Tan Dhesi on a recent visit. Research by Mott MacDonald for Midlands Connect indicates that footfall at Snow Hill station would increase by 127,000 per year if it is reinstated, including more than 14,000 new trips and extra services to London.
