New Waterford station funding approved

THE €170m Waterford North Quays Regeneration project has been funded by the Irish Government and will see the Waterford station relocated to a new site to the east of the existing station. A new two-platform station will be built as part of a new transport hub and will be linked to the city centre by a new pedestrian bridge.
