LMS-Patriot Project
THE fundraising calendar for the LMS-Patriot Project, the group behind new-build No. 5551 The Unknown Warrior, has for several years showcased paintings by railway artists. This year, however, it is host to 13 expertly colourised images featuring locos and scenes from the heyday of the LMS.
In addition to ‘Patriots’, locomotives include examples of Fowler‘2P’4-4-0, Streamlined ‘Princess Coronation ’Pacifics, a rebuilt‘ Claughton’, a ‘Crab’ 2-6-0 and a ‘Jubilee’.
The calendar measures 476x238mm (18.5x9.5in) when opened.

Footplate
IF attractive paintings of the steam era appeal to you, this calendar will doubtless be of interest. The images are all the work of Philip D Hawkins, a founder member of the Guild of Railway Artists.
It is a sizeable publication measuring 495x340mm (19.5x13.5in), while each image measures 380x265mm (15x10.5in). Each print serves two months and includes a simple list of dates – there is no space provided to write events.

The Great British Railway Scene
THIS A4-sized calendar is the work of multi awardwinning photographer and RM contributor Jack Boskett, whose delightful photographs will resonate beyond just rail enthusiasts.
Household loco names such as Flying Scotsman and Tornado are part of the selection, along with Camelot, doubleheaded Class 50s and a GWR IET. A hole has been punched into the top enabling it to be hung with ease.

Lost Lines of Britain
IF archive images from the days of steam is your thing, this calendar is for you. While the title mentions Britain, all the locations depicted are in England and Wales – including Barnstaple, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Builth Road, Folkestone Harbour, Dunmere Junction, the Lickey Incline and Umberleigh.
The 24-page publication measures 200x200mm (8x8in), and the box for each date is approximately 25x20mm (1x0.75in).

Shrewsbury Railway Heritage Trust
THIS calendar features images by local photographers of steam locomotives in Shropshire on the main line and the Severn Valley Railway. Proceeds from the sales will aid the Abbey Foregate Visitor Centre, which tells the story of the Shropshire & Montgomeryshire Railway. Locos featured include No. 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley, No. 44871 and No. 2999 Lady of Legend.
