HUDDERSFIE­LD maintain their grip at the top of the table following a 67-3 trouncing of Morley.

The home side crossed for nine tries through Elliott Hodgson, Ben Morrell, Joel Hinchcliff­e, Austin Thompson, Nick Sharpe, Danny Grainger, Tom Owen, Callum Thompson and Brandon Conway – Chris Bell slotting seven conversion­s and two penalties with Hinchcliff­e knocking over one set of extras.

Rossendale further consolidat­ed second spot but they had to come from behind at Hull in the final ten minutes to take the 30-21 win and bonus point.

Fraser Lindsey, Nick Flynn, Steve Nutt and Jordan Lloyd were try scorers for the visitors.

were unable to make it three from three going down 22-27 at home to Cleckheato­n.

The visitors had to come from 22-7 down at halftime with tries from Ryan Percy, Josh Hall and Richard Piper to add to a converted try in the opening period.

All the hosts’ points came before the break, Mark Rylands with two tries and Jake Allen one.

The result opens a gap at the bottom with Cleck ten points clear of the drop.
