CARDIFF continued their excellent form with a bonus point win away to Llanelli.

Cam Dolan crossed twice for the Blue & Blacks as they secured a fifth victory in their last six matches.

But it was Llanelli who struck first on 18 minutes, when 17-year-old wing Ryan Conbeer crossed with Billy McBride converting to give the West Walians a 70 lead.

But Cardiff were in front a little over five minutes later after two quick-fire tries.

First, fly-half Gareth Thompson levelled the scores after he dotted down and converted on 22 minutes, before an interception from American No.8 Dolan, two minutes later, gave Cardiff the lead.

Thompson added the extras to make the halftime score 14-7 to the visitors.

Cardiff extended their advantage after half-time with a third try.

A twisting run by replacement fly-half Diggy Bird gave on-loan Blues forward Dolan his second try of the match.

Not to be outdone, Conbeer’s second try for Llanelli brought the score back to 21-14.

But the visitors put the seal on the win when prop Kieron Azzarati scored their fourth try 13 minutes from the end to put the result beyond any doubt.

The win moves Cardiff up to the significant eighth place in the Premiership, while Llanelli remain 12th, without a win at home since September.
