Perfect Pooler pummel Emlyn in 9-try rout

PONTYPOOL made it a perfect 10 with a crushing 62-10 victory at Newcastle Emlyn.
Ben Parry and Rob Nash were both at the double as Pooler racked up nine tries.
Mike Herbert, Aaron Quick, Jordan Thomas, Martin Luckwell and Kieran Meek also crossed, Meek adding seven conversions and a penalty.
Teifion Davies got the only Emlyn try.
Pooler have a 15-point lead over nearest challengers Narberth – who produced a stunning second half comeback, recovering from 21-0 down at half time to win 35-31 at Tata Steel.
Dan Smith, Paul Davies, Joe Hutchings, Liam Hitchings and Bradley Davies all crashed over in a five-star second half showing from the visitors, Ianto Griffiths converting all five tries.
Bleddyn Davies, Jacob Williams, Chris Thomas and David Griggs were the Tata try-scorers as earned two bonus points. Callum Bricknell booted four conversions and a penalty.
Trebanos hit Beddau for six in a 43-15 home win.
Sam Davies scored twice for Trebanos with Rhys Thomas, Tom Dew, Steff Lewis and Lewis Humphries the other scorers. Matthew Edwards converted five of the six tries and landed a penalty.
