Aberavon v Llanelli
ABERAVON head coach Jason Hyatt is expecting two big performances from his side ahead of their expected title assault.
The Wizards host Llanelli at the Talbot Athletic Ground today before wrapping up their first phase fixtures with a derby clash at Neath on Boxing Day.
The East and West sections then come together and Hyatt, whose side were beaten to the Premiership title by Merthyr season, already has eye on their trip to Llandovery on December 30.
“For us, it’s about getting consistency in our performances now,” he said.
“We’re seeing some really good phases in defence and attack, but it’s lapses in concentration that are costing us.
“But we’re really focused on putting a couple of performances together, against Llanelli and then Neath on Boxing Day, to lead us into that Llandovery game for the second half of the season.”
Llanelli, are gunning for a third straight victory.
