LOOSE-HEAD prop Toby Williams has signed for Doncaster from relegated Rotherham for next season.

Williams, 31, arrives with a wealth of Championship experience, departing the Titans as their longest serving player having signed for the club in June 2013 and making 86 appearances.

The move to Clifton Lane was Williams’ first professional Union contract after switching codes from League.

Doncaster boss Clive Griffiths said: “Toby has been one of the stand-out props in the Championship for many seasons. He is a powerful, low-to-theground, scrummager and a threat with ball in hand.”

Meanwhile Plymouth Albion have signed former England U18 winger Josh Skelcey from Nottingham.

Skelcey, 23, came through the Northampton Saints Academy and played in the LV= Cup.

Currently head coach of Midlands 2 East (North) side Nottingham Casuals, Skelcey will combine playing with coaching alongside head coach Kieran Hallett.
