Brilliant Barnes seal league title in style

BARNES secured the London Premier Championship with a 7-52 victory at Sutton and Epsom.
Rob Mulaney, Robbie Marty with two, Fraser Carlisle and Matt Cornish were the tryscorers with Charlie Wicks successful with six conversions. Matt Harwood crossed for the home side.

Towcestrians 54-10 at Foote’s Lane. Anthony Armstrong led the charge with a hat-trick followed by Dan Martin and Matt Creder who went in for two apiece. Sam Whithead went over for one with Owen Thomas on target with seven conversions.
Tring were 16-35 winners at Westcombe
Park through tries from Sam Barnes, Ben Criddle, Richard Beeney and George Hayes, Tom Newton landing three conversions and a penalty. Dan Hamilton was the tryscorer for Park, converted by James Cameron, who also kicked three penalties. The defeat consigned Westcombe Park to relegation.
Sidcup beat already relegated Southend

and Josh Twyford, who also slotted three conversions and a penalty, were the tryscorers for the home side.
Westcliff were 35-24 victors at home to
Dorking. Olly Reynolds with two, Jim Smith, Harry Branch and Jack Jones dotted down for the home side.
Hertford beat Guildford 31-41 at Broadwater – Tom Haley with two, Luke Rust and Oli Millward were the home tryscorers.
Chris Joyce claimed a hat-trick for the visitors with Ben Lloyd, Michael Allen and Richard Street over for one each, Sean Taylor hitting four conversions and a penalty.
Shelford were 27-10 winners at home to Tunbridge Wells.
Penda Otonuku, Charlie Parkhouse, Ed Hepworth and Josh Simmons were the tryscorers for the home side with Simmons also kicking two conversions and a penalty.
