Preston win to put gloss on campaign

Grasshoppers completed their season in style with a 66-20 win at home to Sandal.
Sam Gale scored four tries followed by Scott Jordan who crossed for two with Alex Hurst, Alex Ward, Ali Murray and Matt Lamprey over for one each, Sam Stott on target with eight conversions. Simon Frewin and Nick Callaghan dotted down for Sandal.
Hull beat Rossendale 28-39 at Marl Pits. Michael Joblin, Mike Adlard, Liam Regarsall, Stephen Hiheta and Tomati Tamuni dotted downfor the visitors. Ryan McKibbin with two and Liam Simpson crossed for the home side. Harrogate were 45-22 winners at home to Billingham through tries from Keane Naylor with a hat-trick, Harry Jukes, Sam Brady with two and Harry Barnard. Tom Briggs crossed twice for the visitors followed by Joe Evans and Luke Wilson tries.
Lymm were 66-19 winners at home to
Morley. Sam Mallarchy, Aaron Rashid and James Kimber went over for two apiece with Ali Southerland, Jake Ashall, Joe Murphy and Richard McEvoy all claiming one, Cormack Nolan was in the groove with eight conversions. Greg Jones, Luke Brady and Dante Van de Merwe, who also slotted two conversions, crashed over for Morley. Ilkley got the better of Kendal 14-34 at Mint Bridge. Pat Power, Tom Milner and Josh Hall all crossed, Charles Morgan kicking a penalty and three conversions.
Tom Bratton and John Dervey went in for Kendal both converted by Chris Park. Kirkby Lonsdale were 41-31 victors at
home to Birkenhead
Park. Harry Huddleston, Harry Ralston, Ben Walker, Dave Barton and Ryan Terry all claimed tries.
Pocklington completed their season with a 41-28 win over Wirral. Tries from Jack Holbrough, Tom Peters, Jonty Peters David Davison, Archie Fothergill and Christian Pollock was enough, while Matt Loon (2), Jack Yorker and Paul Lewis went in for the visitors.
