Wimbledon profit from Westcliff slip-up

WIMBLEDON return to the top of the table following a 29-19 win at home to Dorking.
Toby White, Chris Yorke and Rob Louw were the tryscorers, with a penalty try guaranteeing the bonus point. Dorking crossed the line for three tries through Malcolm Till and Ben Hatton, who went over for two.
Losing 22-19 away at
Sutton and Epsom, Westcliff drop down to second. Andy Matthews, Kyron Ghuma with two and Jacob Knight were the home tryscorers while Phil Dorant, Greg Bannister and Jack Jones crossed for Westcliff.
Guildford remain in third spot after beating
Brentwood 38-32. Kirsten Jones bagged two with Paul Hodgkinson, Nick Brown and Alex Jordan the other try scorers. They also forced a penalty try with Kyle Brown landing four conversions.
Hertford edged it 26-24 away at CS Stags through tries from Ben Lloyd, Joe Stockwell, Dave Archer and Richard Streets, with Lloyd adding three conversions.
Ollie Roberts, Will Scott and Josh Forster were the home try-scorers, all converted by Liam Cleary.
Tring hammered Shelford, who are still without a win this term, 538. Oliver O’Gorman crossed for two, with Nick Radley, Oscar NicholsonPotter, Jamie Brown, Ben Criddle, Zac Nicowski, Alex Harrison and Charlie Goss-Lambourne claiming one apiece.
Sidcup were 44-20 winners away at Chingford. Jon West went in for two tries with Andre Smith, Luke Coughlin, Colby McMahon and Louis Keeley in for one each.
Sam Evans was on target with four conversions and two penalties.
There was welcome news for Bedford, who got the better of Tunbridge
Wells 35-22 at Putnoe Wood, only their second win in the competition so far.
Leo Mortimer, James Wallace, Ben Thompson and Stephen Woodhead were the home try-scorers with Mortimer adding three conversions, two penalties.
Steve Smith also added a penalty for the home side.
Michael Doherty, Stuart Nichols and Richard Webster went over for the visitors with Frank Reynolds kicking seven points in a losing effort.
