Verden parachutes in to aid Warriors crisis

WORCESTER have signed Bath tighthead prop Kieran Verden on a short-term loan deal.

Verden, 22, was included in the squad to face Pau in the Challenge Cup yesterday.

Warriors are without Nick Schonert, Richard Palframan and Joe Morris, who are all sidelined by ankle injuries.

“We’re very appreciative for Bath loaning Kieran to us,” Warriors boss Alan Solomons said.

Verden toured South Africa with England U18s in 2017 and made his Bath debut in September.
