Tigers chase Taylor

LEICESTER Tigers are expected to open talks in the New Year with Wasps hooker Tommy Taylor.

Taylor, 29, who won his one England cap against Wales in 2016, played for Macclesfield and Sale Sharks before moving to Wasps from Sharks four years ago. Tigers are keen to recruit him for next season and can open talks with players six months before their contract ends.

The former England Saxons front rower has made 74 appearances for Wasps and scored seven tries.
