‘Harry’s worked hard on his skills’

-

PAT Lam was full of praise for Harry Randall who produced a Test quality performance in front of England boss Eddie Jones.

“It’s not about how big you are – Harry’s only 70kg – it’s about what you bring to the team and game,” the Bristol DoR said.

“Harry loves quick-taps and is a great student of the game, particularly our game. To play at the next level you just have to play well week in week out and work on your skills.

“During lockdown Harry really worked on his kicking which I thought he needed to develop. His fitness as well, he can go longer in the game now.”

Lam added: “I’m proud of the win. You can’t come to this place and win unless you bring the right mindset, the right physicality levels.”

Exeter boss Rob Baxter said: “We probably are in a bit of an emotional wobble. I’m not sure every game is meaning quite as much as it needs to at the moment for the lads

“If I’m going to question the lads, and I don’t often do it, I’m not quite sure at the moment that they’re prepared to throw absolutely everything into a game.”
