Warm up for 2022

A SLUGGISH start to the Six Nations removes the chances of an England Grand Slam.

When looking ahead to 2022 is there not a case (with England having only two home fixtures) to invite an international team to play the Saturday before the championship starts?

Training takes you only so far and this would shake up any players who are off the game pace in advance. I suspect, priced sensibly and paying a proportion of the gate to the guest XV, 82,000 would probably turn up and it doesn’t take a genius to know that the RFU coffers need significant re-filling too!
