Noble effort as leaders triumph

DORKING maintain their lead at the top of the table following a 38-0 win at home to Brighton. Tim Bristow, Tyler Norwood, Ollie Rathbone, Louis Flynn and Matt Noble were the try scorers all converted by Noble, who also added a penalty.

In the second versus third battle at Norwich Road, Sevenoaks ran out 5-13 winners over North Walsham. The result leaves the Norfolk based side eight points adrift of the top two.

The visitors held a 0-13 lead through tries from Shadyn Osgood and Ben Adams who also kicked a penalty right up to the final minutes when the home side got Ethan Sikorski over for a well deserved score.

Westcombe Park got the better of Tunbridge Wells 5-27 at St.Mark’s. Matt Harrison, James Burton, Nick Cook and Dave Pohlen were try scorers for the visitors with Jacob Buckley slotting two conversion­s and a penalty.

Jack Smith crossed for the only try for the home side.

In a very close fought game at Braywick Park Havant edged it 27-29 over home side Maidenhead through tries from Joe Moore, Elliott Belman, Joel Knight, Sean Shepherd and Ruben Knight Joel Knight also successful with two conversion­s.

Maidenhead crossed through Connor Grainey, James Clancy and Joe

Keohane plus a penalty try. Grainey hitting one conversion and a penalty.

Sutton and Epsom were 10-24 winners away to Wimbledon through tries from George London and Sam Hurley to add to an early penalty try, Hurley also successful with two conversion­s and a penalty.

Alex Kerr crossed for the home side converted by Jake Noble who also kicked a penalty.

Sidcup took the honours at Cow Lane beating Tring 24-27 through tries from Freddy Ruff, Ben Stokes, Ben Stock and Charlie Hopkins with Josh Twyford landing two conversion­s and a penalty.

Tring crossed the line three times, Alex Harrison and Jack Duerden with two claiming the honours. All three were converted by Ben Hodge to add to an earlier penalty.

Bottom of the table CS Stags who are still to record a win so far this season once again were forced to call a game off this time away to Hertford due to being unable to field a side.

In the North division, top of the table Otley power on, defeating Rossendale 57-5 at Cross Green. Calum Irvine, Adam Malthouse, Gavin Stead, Ben Waddington, Finn Dewar with two, will Burns and Struan Connor were the try scorers for the home side. There was also a penalty late on with Joe Rowntree adding five conversion­s. Matt Probert was the try scorer for the visitors.
