BILLINGHAM increased their lead at the top of the table following a 47-7 win at Paviors.

The tries came from Luke Wilson, who roared in for a hat-trick, Mike Walton, Ryan Kilbride, Leon Turnbull and Martin Hopley. Jobe Roxby was on target with six conversion­s. Josh Alton-Smith crossed for the home side, George Billam adding the conversion.

Driffield took over from Alnwick in second after defeating them 31-19 at Kellythorp­e.

Dan Ramsden, Matt Jenkinson, with two, James Short and Sam Gleeson were the try scorers, with James Watts successful with three conversion­s. Alex Robson bagged a brace for the visitors, with Duncan Smith the other try scorer, Evan Moir adding two conversion­s.

With Alnwick now back in fourth, Heath moved up to third with a 59-32 win at home to Doncaster Phoenix. Matt Malthouse crossed for two, with Jordan Bradbrook, Eddie Cartwright, Elliot Knight, Jack Piltcher, Paul Turner, Elliott Sprears and Chris Moore all in for one each. Chris Johnson landed seven conversion­s.

Sam Brook, Matthew Drennan, Josh Cox and David Moores were try scorers for the visitors. Brook also hit two conversion­s and two penalties, with Julian Laszlinski slotting one.

Ilkley were 36-5 winners at home to Cleckheato­n thanks to a try from Ben Walker and two for Blake Morgan, all converted by Chuckie Ramsey, who also hit five penalties. James Marshall was the try scorer for the visitors.

Scunthorpe edged it 2827 against West Bridgeford. Nick Sydall, Josh Clark, Ben Hyde and Will Harrison went over for the home side, with Clark making the difference with two penalties and a conversion.

Callum Gunn, Jacob Heath, Olu Ajeigbe and Xander Purcell were try scorers for the visitors, with Gunn also on target with two conversion­s and a penalty.

Sandal ran out 44-39 winners at home to York. Luke Adams, Joe Allott, with two, Will Henshall, Austin Thompson, Zac Burnside and Jake Adams were the home try scorers. Adam also slotted three conversion­s and a penalty.

Willem Enslin, Shane Goulding, Sam Forbes, with three, and Nick Ashman went in for the visitors, Forbes kicking one conversion.
