PONTYPOOL went on the rampage again as they ran in 16 tries to beat Glamorgan Wanderers 108-12.

A few weeks ago they almost reached the century mark against

Tata Steel but this time they made no mistake as they put their visitors ruthlessly to the sword.

Matthew Jarvis helped himself to 26 points with the boot as he converted 13 of the tries and then chipped in with the final try to take his tally up to 31. He also sent in Amosa Nove for try number 15 that meant Pooler hit the century mark.

There was a hat-trick for wing Duan Thomas and two each for lock Ashley Sweet and wing Deon Smith. The Wanderers had tries from Max Surry and Theo Shinton, plus a Tommy Taylor conversion.

The win made it 17 in a row for unbeaten Pontypool, who top the table with 84 points. Neath are second with the same number of points, having played two games more.

The Welsh All Blacks won 58-15 against bottom of the table Tata Steel at The Gnoll. Having gone behind to an early penalty, Neath ran in ten tries, with Llewellyn Hawkes getting a hat-trick. Dyfan Ceredig got two and others came from Ioan Jones, Evan Kneath, Matt Davies, Ben Atkins and Sean Wilcox. Rhys Harris added two conversions, as did Steff Williams.

Third-placed Bargoed triumphed 59-7 at Cross Keys. Early tries from Wade Langley, James Leadbeater, Dylan Williams and Ollie Andrews, three of which Josh Prosser improved, saw the Bulls speed into a 26-0 interval lead.

Williams completed his hat-trick, Leadbetter got his second and Kyle Bailey and Dai Evans also crossed. Matthew Lewis converted four.

Narberth ran out 42-5 winners at Maesteg Quins, WRU Championship Cup finalists Ystrad Rhondda won 26-23 at Trebanos and Bedwas won 52-17 at Ystalyfera.
