Major employers gathered at Scarborough Spa for The Big Meet – an event aimed at providing employers with the knowledge and information to help them start engaging with schools. In attendance were representatives from businesses such as Nestle, Network Rail, Unilever, BT, Persimmon Homes, McCains, Rosti Automotive and Flamingo Land. The event was hosted by NYBEP (North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership) in partnership with the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership and the Careers and Enterprise Company.
