With huge demand for places, the Tour de Yorkshire Ride is set to be one of the most talkedabou­t sportives of 2015.

If you can’t wait to find out if you’ve made i f through the ballot or have left it too late to apply then there is a way to win one of 10 guaranteed free tickets to ride.

All you have to do i s visit the this year’s Welcome to Yorkshire conference, Y 15, at Scarboroug­h Spa from 10am on Wednesday March 18.

Gary Verity, Chief Execut i ve of Welcome t o Yorkshire, said: “This is a fantastic chance for people to ride this iconic route and we hope it will, as part of the legacy of the Grand Départ, get more people of all ages and all abilities cycling.”

Welcome to Yorkshire’s an- nual Y conference event will this year focus on the first year of the Tour de Yorkshire which is on May 1-3.

There will be news about other great events coming to Yorkshire in 2015 and details of how Welcome to Yorkshire will keep the county i n the spotlight.

The Tourde Yorkshire Ride is a unique opportunit­y for sportive riders in the UK to experience the Tour de France legacy and to pave the way for the pro riders.

The sportive will take place on the same day and roads as the third and final stage of the Tour de Yorkshire pro ride on Sunday May 3.

To be in with a chance of one of 10 f ree places i n the Tour de Yorkshire Ride simply register at yorkshire.com/ Y15 and submit your printed ticket on the day at the conference’s Welcome to Yorkshire stand and you could be a winner.

Entries will be drawn after the event closes on March 18 2015.
