Groups a credit to their uniforms
Many of these uniformed group nominees will be used to picking up badges for their achievements.
Now they will be aiming to pick up the honours in the competitive category, which recognises the borough’s best cadets, guides and brownies.
The nominations are: Petra Jackson: “Petra and the whole team of Leaders for 15th Scarborough Guides are amazing. They do so much to enrich the lives of the girls.
“They go way above and beyond anything you could expect normally and they do it with so much love and support. They are fantastic role models for the girls.” Natalie and Gareth Davies: “Scarborough Sea Cadets have gone from strength this year under their command.
“Natalie came top of the offi cer selection board for her promotion to Sub Lieutenant, while her husband Gareth came top in his officer selection board for promotion to Sub Lieutenant.
