At Derwent Valley BRIDGE the Easter coffee morning this Saturday is the last chance for buying squares in our Easter draw. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors which include East Ayton SPAR, Forge Valley Inn, Seamer Proudfoot’s, Tesco and Morrison’s, we now have 15 Easter eggs and other chocolate prizes to be won. There are also two fluffy Easter rabbits looking for new homes.

The coffee morning starts at 10.30am through to 12 noon. There will be delicious homemade refreshments and a chance to buy seasonal crafts made by the knit and stitch group. Everyone is welcome.

Don’t forget to sign up for the craft and activity session at the community library for children aged 3-8 years on Monday from 1-3pm. There will be lots to do – crafts, rhymes, songs, stories and games.

If you bring along a decorated hat and/or a decorated hard-boiled egg you could be in with a chance of winning a prize. Tickets, including refreshments, are £1 per person.

The community library will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Saturday (April 3-4) and will re-open at 10am on Tuesday April 7. Dates for returning books will be adjusted to take account of this.
