A former pupil is arranging a school reunion over 50 years since the class were last together.

Sam Greetham, pupil of Fri- arage Infants school during the early 50s, is organising a get together to celebrate the class and to wish a happy birthday to those who are turning 70 this year.

The reunion will take place on Wednesday October 21 at 2pm for afternoon tea at Palm Court Hotel, Scarborough.

Sam Greetham said: “This is my origin, I do see some of these people but some have moved away.

“Some people maybe have never been together for 50 years.”

Former teacher, Mr Eade, nee Mr Bogg, is the only teacher from the class’ time at school who will be attending the reunion.

Mr Greetham wants everyone who attended Friarage Infants School in the early 50’s to know they are invited to come along for a catch up.

He has created a list of everyone in the class and asks if anyone knows a former pupil to let them know the reunion is happening. Everyone is welcome, please contact Sandra on (01723) 369551.
