Farm fun day raises £522

A farm in Scarboroug­h hosted a family fun day to raise money for two charities. Stepney Hill Farm raised £522 which was split between the Royal National Lifeboat Institutio­n and Ellie’s Fund Brain Tumour Trust. Heather Othick, founder of Ellie’s Fund, wanted to express her gratitude for the time and effort the farm put into raising £261 for each charity. Ellie’s Fund Brain Tumour Trust was set up in memory of 14-year-old Ellie Othick-Bowmaker. who raised more than £25,000 during her own fight with two brain tumours.
