Farm fun day raises £522

A farm in Scarborough hosted a family fun day to raise money for two charities. Stepney Hill Farm raised £522 which was split between the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and Ellie’s Fund Brain Tumour Trust. Heather Othick, founder of Ellie’s Fund, wanted to express her gratitude for the time and effort the farm put into raising £261 for each charity. Ellie’s Fund Brain Tumour Trust was set up in memory of 14-year-old Ellie Othick-Bowmaker. who raised more than £25,000 during her own fight with two brain tumours.
