Library’s volunteer plea

An open day is being held about the future of Scalby and Newby Library at the library on October 19 from 3pm to 6pm. The library urgently needs volunteers to come froward and form a community group to run it, otherwise it could close. A group needs to form by Christmas. At the meeting there will be staff and current volunteers available to talk to people. If you are interested but unable to come on the day, please email snlvsecretary@gmail.com and give your details.
