Shannon wins Marie Curie class at show

Pictured above are Linda Finn, senior health care assistant for Marie Curie, and Shannon Mainprize on her horse Cheeky Charlie. Shannon was the winner of the charity class at Southfield Show, which is held at Irton Moor Farm. Liz and Terry Johnston and family run the popular Southfield Show every year and one section is a charity class in aid of Marie Curie. All the entrants received a rosette and all the horses were given a carrot, an apple and a packet of polos.
