Providing free help for carers

Scarborough and Ryedale Carers Resource is a registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee established in 1995. It provides free, confidential, independent information, advice and emotional support to Young Carers 8 years and above as well as adult carers of children and adults who have a physical or learning disability; who have long or short term life limiting illness; a mental health problem or need support due to the effects of substance misuse or age. It provides a 1-1 direct service to over 600 unpaid adult carers and 110 Young Carers in Scarborough Borough and Ryedale District areas.
