Joiner nominated for trade award

A joiner from Lebberston has been shortlisted in the annual search by Screwfix to find Britain’s Top Tradesperson. John Revill, 43, has seen off competition from tradesmen and women across Yorkshire and Hull and will go head-to-head with up to four other regional finalists at a judgement day on Sunday 25 October. John, who trades under the name JR Joinery, said: “Not everyone cares about the job the way that I do. I like to take my time and show respect when in someone else’s home.”
