Get ready for festive Santa Dash 2015
Festive fun is on the way again with the launch of this year’s St Catherine’s Hospice Santa Dash in Filey.
The event will take place on Sunday December 13 with the flag going up at 11am.
Organiser Louise Gravestock said: “Once again we are holding the event in Filey and in addition to our seaside Santas, we are inviting a whole herd of running reindeer to come along and join the fun.
“Please join us and let’s make this year’s event even bigger!
“Help us paint the town red, as in exchange for your registration fee, you will receive a sponsor form and Santa Dash suit or reindeer antlers and a flashing red nose to be worn during the dash.”
The event sets off from Country Park, Filey, and all participants can dash at their own pace. It will finish at the Royal Parade Cafe, a distance of approximately 1.5 miles.
Following refreshments at the Royal Parade Cafe, a free Christmas special bus service will be available to transport all participants back to the starting point.
