If you can’t get to the library let the library come to you! If you or someone you know is unable to visit the library because of ill health or disability, or if you are a carer and would still like to borrow books, audio books or DVDs, you are eligible for a free fortnightly home library service delivery by one of our friendly volunteers.

The service is organised by North Yorkshire County Council Library Services who recruit local volunteers to choose and deliver books for you. Derwent Valley BRIDGE is the location for the local service. All volunteers are vetted. For details please contact (01609) 536602.

The annual general meeting takes place at 7pm on Thursday November 12 at the community library. All voting members, library users and supporters are invited to attend. The meeting will give you the chance to hear about the achievements and challenges of the past year and take part in a discussion about new developments. We want to hear what you think about the library and the ideas that you have about the future.
