Fly-tipper fined by court

Scarborough man Daniel Linder has been found guilty of two instances of illegal waste disposal. Following a prosecution brought by Scarborough Council, Linder, 31, of Moorland Road, accused of dumping rubbish in woodland on the outskirts of Scarborough. He pleaded guilty and received a community order of 150 hours unpaid work. He was also fined a total of £887, made up of costs to the council of £627, a court charge of £180 and a victim surcharge of £60. Linder’s serial offending was discovered in April this year.
